Catch this masterful score composed by the legendary Ruggero Leoncavallo. The music and libretto were created by the Italian music prodigy back in 1892. The opera became his lasting legacy to a plethora of masterpieces he delivered during his lifetime. This production is brought to life with the efforts of director Christopher Mattalio and conductor Yves Mabel who will lead the San Diego Symphonic Orchestra. The performance also features the work of an incredible creative team with scenic designer Alan Moyer, lighting designer Paul Palazzo, and costume designer James Scott. The stellar cast includes Jonathan Burton as Canio, Hailey Clark as his Canio’s wife Nedda, and Kidon Choi as Tonio, Nedda’s lover.
