San Diego Civic Theatre
If you’re expecting normal, readjust your expectations. If you’re thinking they’re the same as everybody else, alter your thoughts. If you’re dead-set on trying to figure them out, don’t.
Rumor has it that rock’s most experimental band is making a turn towards their early influences - rawness, edge, goth-meets-punk, and a tad bit of aggression. Rumor also dictates that the nervy, very much normal-isn’t band has announced a cooker of a new album, and they’ll be descending on North American venues in support thereof. And we’re all over it!
That’s right, San Diego, Puscifer is going on tour, and they’re coming to the San Diego Civic Theatre on 13 May 2026 with their ‘The Normal Isn’t’ tour alongside special guest Dave Hill!
Tickets are going from as low as $83 and are selling like mad, so if you snooze on this one, you won’t get in. Hit that ‘Get Tickets’ button now to secure your seats!
It’s their first album in over five years, and they’re hitting it hard. Apart from returning to their earlier influences, Puscifer has also called upon some of rock’s greatests - Tool’s Danny Carey, King Crimson’s Tony Levin, Failure’s Greg Edwards, and Nine Inch Nails’ Atticus Ross’ father, Ian Ross - to contribute as guests. The Normal Isn’t is set to be released in February 2026, with a massive North American tour to follow. Puscifer is slated to rain havoc on all the major venues, starting in mid-March 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and wrapping up in mid-May 2026 in Los Angeles, California.
Frontman, mastermind, and creative genius Maynard James Keenan has hailed Puscifer as his “creative subconscious” - and it is pretty evident. The band - featuring the incredible talents of guitarist Matt Mitchell, multi-instrumentalist Carina Round, bassist Josh Moreau, and drummer Gunnar Olsen - is a one-of-a-kind sort of thing. The showmanship is unlike anything you’ve ever seen, the overall conceptual audio-visual experience off-the-charts, the vocals exceptional and quite mind-blowing, the energy something to behold, and the musicianship next level. In short, any thoughts of a normal rock concert couldn’t be further from the actuality. Puscifer is unlike anything or anybody else - they are really art rock in all its glory, and a must-see for everyone that appreciates no-brakes exuberance, intense, immaculate, and unparalleled musicianship, eye-popping visuals, a fantastically executed show topped with a healthy dose of theatricality, and something unique.
And their genre?
Puscifer is experimental as hell. From their creepy, tribal, weird vibe to their unique mixture of punk-metal, dancy aggression, and hysterical prepubescent humor; from their brilliantly harmonized vocals to their unpredictability and creative antics, there is never a dull moment at a Puscifer concert.
Puscifer will be joined on tour by comedic musician, radio host, writer, and actor Dave Hill, known for hits such as I Wanna Live in New York City and Irritable Chimps.
