Greatly influenced by his comedy idols Joan Rivers, Ellen Degeneres and Kathy Griffin, Matteo Lane embarked on his stand up career in 2011. He made his TV debut in 2015 in MTV’s Girl Coded. At the time, Lane was fresh from being discovered while performing in local comedy clubs across North America. That same year, he also made his film debut with an appearance in Moving On. In 2018, Lane appeared on an episode of the Comedy Line Up. By 2022, Lane released his debut comedy special The Advice Special. The following year, he followed with Hair Plugs & Heartaches. In 2023, he continued his creative streak with sequels of his debut special, The Advice Special Part Two and Part Three. In 2025, Lane released his latest comedy special, The Al Dente Special.
