The Iron Lady is back! Marisela Esqueda is kicking off a highly-anticipated "Eterna Tour" across this U.S. this year, taking her Latin music hits to the live stage. Marisela, recognized by many as "La Dama de Hierro", she has marked an enduring legacy since her massive rise in the 1980s. Known for her soul-stirring ballads, emotive vocals, and top-notch energies, she gained a reputation as one of Latin pop's best artists. Taking off with a #1 hit "Ya No" in the 90s, and keeping it all up with succesful LPs, compilations, and live albums, you can definitely see her great heart for music.
Marisela began her career in 1984 with the release of her debut album "Sin Él", produced by the acclaimed Marco Antonio Solís. Her next album "Completamente Tuya" made her known with even more ballads charting, all led by her emotive voice. 1990 marked her big #1 hit with "Ya No", and the song was featured in the 1988 film "Salsa". She also performed in the film, alongside Celia Cruz and Tito Puente.
With a career that spans over 40 years, she's living her best life - singing with pure heart, no matter what.
"And I guess because not everybody sings with the heart anymore, you know, it’s all about shake this and shake that... And I haven’t really, you know, heard anything that’s that’s totally emotional," she shared in a RYM feature. "That’s why I stick to the love because it’s all about love what I sing."
