To drive its narrative to its viewers, ‘& Juliet’ showcases a slew of songs borrowed from current music industry's chart-topper icon, Max Martin. The Swedish songwriter and producer already had an idea of immortalizing his songs through theater as well, giving rise to ‘& Juliet’ being created and afterwards having its first run in the year of 2019. Martin gave complete freedom in the usage of his hits to the musical, saying that he “hoped to revive his songs over the years in a new way, and to let fans feel that even if his songs are performed differently, the audience would enjoy his music just as much.” '& Juliet' is headlined with tracks from world-class performers such as Katy Perry, Britney Spears, P!nk, and NSYNC, among others. Because of this, it was one of the first to gather a different audience to West End.
