The Mamma Mia! Story starts in full swing with a young bride named Sophie on a mythical island in Greece. The bubbling youth is marrying her fiance, Sky and has always dreamed of having her father walk her down the aisle. The ceremony is just one day away, but she has a problem: she doesn't know who her father is since her mother, Donna, had a romantic relationship with three different men in a short time.

Any of these three candidates could be the father of her daughter. Sophie decides to take things into her own hands and search for some answers by inviting all three potential fathers to her big day, but Donna isn't thrilled about the surprise. Throughout the story, we see Sophie getting to know the three men and becoming even more puzzled about herself.

Meanwhile, Donna reconnects with her old bandmates from Donna and the Dynamos and the women reminisce about the their days as a chick rock band while talking about how their lives have changed. The rest of the Mamma Mia! Synopsis follows the highs and lows that follow leading up to the wedding and the Mamma Mia! Storyline makes you fall in love with the characters with the ABBA-inspired songs including legendary hits "Dancing Queen", "Mamma Mia", and "Super Trouper" taking you on the journey.
