Camila are back with the original three band members. Samo had gone off to do his own thing, but he's hitting the road once again with Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado. It's set to be a highly emotional night with all of the top tracks from the band. In the 2000s and the 2010s, Camila was the band you put on when you needed to get in touch with your romantic side. Now you're going to have a chance to catch them live at the San Diego Civic Theater on Friday, March 6th.
The band released an album in 2024 titled Regresa. The promos for the tour still mimic the art for that release. You might want to catch up on those "new" tracks because they're likely going to be featured on the set list. This reunion tour with Camila has been a long time in the making. As mentioned, the album tied to it came out in 2024, but they haven't had a continued run throughout Mexico or the US. You may want to blame that on scheduling issues, the downfall of Mexican pop, or even luck! Who knows, maybe you wouldn't have been able to make it to a San Diego stop by Camila in 2025 or 2024, but now, if you're reading this, it's likely that you're in line to be at this performance. This is one of the bands that marked an entire generation with songs about love and loss through Samo's incredible vocals and Mario Domm's trademark sighs. All of that is what's coming to San Diego on Friday, March 6th.
As mentioned, Camila's likely going to use the tour to try and push some of their tracks from their 2024 album. That release didn't see massive success, so really the oohs and ahhs are going to be reserved for "Alejate de Mi", "Todo Cambio", and "Mientes." From the word go, this is a concert that's going to get emotional. It's also going to serve as a trip down memory lane. Don't be too surprised if you remember that boyfriend or girlfriend to whom you dedicated one of these songs.
No pit for this one, so you're going to have to get a little more creative to find the best seats in the house. The middle of the orchestra section can offer a wide view of the show while having a potential descent path back to the concession stands to refuel. If you're looking for the bargains, those are probably going to be found on some of the upper levels. You might also have a little more leg room in those spots—something to think about as you proceed to pick your seats.
