As the story unwinds we find Lydia Deetz, a weird and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole after life thing. When she realizes that her house is haunted, by Beetlejuice, it is like she hit the jackpot. Eventually, after some debate the two team up in the most incredible way to scare living creatures with exorcism, an arranged marriage and gigantic sand worms.
